Terms and conditions

Last updated 3 September 2026

Draft for review. Points marked ⟨…⟩ are committee decisions, not technical ones: confirm them, then have a lawyer read the result. This page is among the things Mollie checks before enabling live payments.

1. Who organises the summit

The EME Rotary Summit Bari 2027 is organised by SUMMIT EME 2027 S.r.l.s., VAT 09204130729, ⟨registered office⟩ (the "Organiser").

2. Scope

These terms govern registration for the summit, held in Bari from 23 to 26 September 2027, and for the GELS · GNLS · PLS seminars that precede it from 20 to 22 September 2027. By registering you confirm that you have read and accepted them.

3. Registration and payment

Registration is completed online. It becomes binding only once payment is received: until then your place is not held.

  • All amounts are in euro.
  • Card, PayPal and bank transfer are accepted.
  • ⟨VAT treatment of the fees — to be defined with the accountant.⟩
  • The fee covers access to the sessions and the exhibition, refreshments, lunches and summit materials.
  • The fee does not cover travel, accommodation, transfers, insurance or visa costs.

Bank charges on transfers from outside the SEPA area are borne by the participant: the amount credited must match the fee due.

4. Cancellation and refunds

Committee decision. The scale below follows the Rotterdam 2026 edition and is offered as a starting point, to confirm or change.⟩

  • Up to 90 days before the start: full refund, less an administration fee of ⟨15%⟩.
  • Between 89 and 30 days before: ⟨40%⟩ of the amount paid is refunded.
  • Fewer than 30 days before, or no-show: no refund.

Requests must be sent in writing to registration@rotarysummitbari.org. Refunds are issued to the payment method used for the registration.

5. Transferring a registration

A registration may be transferred to another person ⟨free of charge up to 45 days before the event; thereafter a fixed fee of €25 applies⟩. Notify the secretariat in writing with the replacement's details.

6. Programme changes

The Organiser may change the programme, speakers, timings and rooms for organisational reasons. Changes to individual sessions do not give rise to refunds, in whole or in part.

Should the event be cancelled for reasons attributable to the Organiser, fees paid will be refunded ⟨in full / net of administration costs⟩. The Organiser is not liable for travel or accommodation booked independently.

7. Liability

Participants attend at their own responsibility and should arrange their own insurance cover. The Organiser's liability is limited as provided by law, and it is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal property, nor for services supplied by third parties (hotels, transport, excursions).

8. Photography and filming

Photographs and video will be taken during the event to document the summit and to promote future editions. By attending you agree to appear in such material. If you would rather not be filmed, tell the secretariat: ⟨practical arrangements to be defined⟩.

9. Personal data

How we handle data is set out in our privacy notice.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Italian law. The courts of ⟨Bari⟩ have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that allow a consumer to bring proceedings where they live.
